This page is for umpires who umpire at Netball North Harbour and are allocated games for Club & College during the season.
For allocated games in 2025 Netball North Harbour is using Sporty's Appoint Me. Umpires will need to register to Appoint Me if you are being allocated to Club and College games - eg Premier 1, 2, 3, Senior 1 and College Premier 1 and Open A
To register to Appoint Me please go to https://sporty.co.nz/appointme You will also receive 2 x emails when you register on the Umpires form in 2025. One confirmation of your registration and one email giving you access to Appoint Me. Again only allocated umpires need to do this.
If you have never registered to Sporty before you will need to create a login. If you already have a Sporty login, you can login to Appoint Me using that login.
You can Save the address to Appoint Me on your phone Home Page for easy access throughout the season (it is not an App but this treats it like an App)
- Once you are in Appoint Me you can go in and select your Availability. Please click on the dates when you ARE available. To check competition playing dates please click the buttons below (Club is coming soon).
- You can go back in and update your availability if things change.
- Note you can also select when you are available as to am, pm or after 5.00 pm (available all day, click both am and pm) As this is quite broad and if you are available only for a 8.30 pm game say at Prem, you can make a Note - tick the after 5.00 pm but put a note saying you are only available for the 8.30 pm , etc.
- The Allocations Officers on the Umpires Committees will then make allocations to games based on when you said you were available.
- Umpires will receive an email telling them they have been allocated to a game and you can Accept the game from the email OR if you know you do certain games, etc, go into Appoint Me on your phone and you will see a notification that you have allocations.
- Umpires DO NEED TO ACCEPT the allocations which will then show up on your Appoint Me allocations list and will be displayed on the website.
- You can Decline appointments but a reason MUST be given as to why. As you have selected your availability for a date, the allocations officers are going to take it that you will be Accepting that allocation.
BUT THINGS CAN CHANGE ... If for some reason you become unwell or injured and you cannot make an allocation which you have already accepted, then you need to contact nnhumpires@gmail.com or text/message {Jill/Raewyn do you want to insert a number???} We can put For Premier 1 & 2 games contact ... For Saturday games (Prem 3, Senior 1, College Premier 1 & Open A) contact ..... Year 9 allocations Sharon Fraser sharon@netballnorthharbour.co.nz You cannot Unaccept an Allocation. You need to make contact, with the Umpire Allocations Officers straight away so they can remove you and allocate another Umpire. |
