Team registration closes Friday 4 April
Team registration is completed through Team Builder on Sporty. This is the number of teams that will play in the competition.
Under team name, you you DO need to put your school name and the number of your team. We use numbers for team - NO TEAM NAMES! For example TNIS 7/1, Northcote 8/1. You do not need to write Intermediate and it is ok to use initials for schools that use those regularly, eg Takapuna Normal, TNIS.
Please write the team number as 8/1, 8/2 and so on (this is for seeding purposes)
Players, coaches and managers allocated to teams by Friday 11 April
Once the team is registered players need to be put into their teams. Team Builder allows you to drag players from your school list and directly to the team OR you can select multiple names and to put them in their team. Both players and coaches/managers need to complete a registration form which can be found on the club/school list.
Scoring
We use the "MyNetballManager" app to score all our games. This is available on both the app store and google play for apple and android users.
Teams require a score code to score thier team. Coordinators can find these on Team Builder on the team list directly or by exporting all teams details in bulk. Otherwise they can be retrieved from the control room on the day.
Please ensure there are a few people in the team who have this code so scoring can be completed. This means if someone is away, another volunteer can help out. Scoring process is the same as using a paper scorecard but phones are now used instead. If your phone is not working then please stand with opposition scoring (as per normal process) and use one phone together.

School Duty Roster
School Duty is a role where volunteers from each school help the control room personnel to monitor the courts and report problems or help in emergency situations (if they occur)
Each school will be rostered on a certain date during the season. .
Schools are expected to help over all 4 rounds of competition. Those schools with a small number of teams will be paired with another school so the roles are shared.
Roster will be uploaded in April 2025
This will be curated after team registrations have closed and the number of teams playing are finalised
Time Requests to be made by the School Coordinator ONLY and the form on the right hand side needs to be filled and completed.
Time requests cost $20 each.
If during the season there are any unexpected clashes these will be $20 each also.
Time Requests are for NNH netball clashes only and will be subject to approval. Any that are not approved will not be charged. Example: Team 1 and Team 2 have the same umpire - thereforte needs to be on different rounds.
Time requests are not for personal requests.
Additional players are those who register to play once the season has already started.
There is a $10.00 fee for additional players. This must be paid when the form is filled.
The form can be filled online or at the control room.
Please note there are two different forms and both must be filled before the player takes the court:
Umpires
All teams need to supply their own umpires. If you wish your team to be included in the programme for us to allocate one for your team, please contact Sharon Fraser on sharon@netballnorthharbour.co.nz All umpire enquiries should be directed to Sharon.
The cost for an umpire per game is $10.00 per game - This is direct cash payment to the umpire before the game commences.
We ask to pay before because some have back to back rounds and need to have their teams
There are new rules to be implemented - Please remind coaches to become familiar with these
Defaults and Cancellations
Teams/schools need to notify Bailee on the day by 12.00 pm if a team is defaulting. This allows us to get the message through to the opposition. I can accept a 1.00 pm default but if it is later, the school will be fined a $50.00 Late Deafult Fee.
Coordinators should email Bailee if there is a default so we have it in writing. Alternative is by phone call to the reception.
Please advise all details so we can quickly contact the opposition.
Cancellations
We vey rarely cancel netball but if we do we will make the decision at 1.00 pm. We will email all the schools and use the website and social media to distribute the message. Please ask parents to not ring NNH at 10.00 am in the morning if it is raining!!
If games are cancelled games will be shifted forwared by 1 week.
Photos & Videos
As part of the registration process, when parents accept the terms and conditions of the registration form, NNH has the right to take photos of players which we use for promotional material, social media posts, etc, about tournaments, programmes or leagues.
In 2025 the Arena games will be filmed. This will only affect Year 7 & 8 Grade 1 teams. This is a pay by view service, the same company that do basketball. If parents, or grandparents, or coaches, wish to watch games, they have to pay separately to view the games. More information will come out on how to do this.
If a school has any issue with any filming or photography of a child/ren, the onus is on the school to let us know. Please contact Bailee.
