PRACTICAL COACHING COURSES

Below are dates for practical coaching courses in 2025 for coaches of younger age group teams.

These are great if you have taken on the task of coaching your child's team and want to learn some basic skills or a refresherif you have not played for a while, for these age groups.  They are pre season courses.

These are practical coaching courses.  All courses will be run at the Barfoot & Thompson Netball Centre, Northcote, unless stated with HBC where the venue is held at Edith Hopper Park, Manly.

All courses are 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

Coaches need to wear practical clothing for moving in.

*Year 1 to 3 coaches NEED to attend this course.  If you cannot make it, please send another parent or helper along who can give you the information.

NNZ CCA1 MODULES WORKSHOP

WHEN: WEDNESDAY 9TH APRIL 

TIME: 6.00PM-9.00PM

VENUE: FREEMAN ROOM at the BARFOOT & THOMPSON NETBALL CENTRE, 44 NORTHCOTE RD, NORTHCOTE

An opportuntity for coaches who want to start formalising their coaching pathway and gain their NNZ Community Coach Level 1 award (CCA1) or coaches who have commenced their CCA1 award and require some or all of these modules to add or to complete their award.

The CCA1 workshop will include the following modules:

• Player Centred Coaching (PCC) Module 6.15pm - 7.00pm - $30.00 (individual module cost)
• Attack Module - 7.05pm - 8.00pm - $30.00 (individual module cost)
• Defence Module - 8.05pm -9.00pm - $30.00 (individual module cost)
• N.B Select to complete ALL 3 modules - $75.00
