Jewellery and Netball

This is a very early warning to all parents (and all players) regarding jewellery.  Jewellery or any adornments cannot be worn when a player is playing netball.  There is no taping of jewellery, including earrings.

Parents of primary school players.  Please DO NOT get your children's ears pierced during the netball season.  THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IF THEY CANNOT TAKE THEIR EARRING OUT!

Carpark

It starts again ... our carpark is going to be dug up (not all of it) and relaid where the chip seal is.  The work on the carpark is expected to ramp up next week, beginning 24th February and it may be closed off.   Please park by the cricket club or across the road when coming to the Centre.

Apologies for the inconvenience but hopefully this will be the end of it.

Cadbury Donate Your Kit

Donate_Your_kit.jpgYou may have seen the advertising around the Cadbury Donate Your Kit bins.  We have one located in our Players Lounge.  If you have good sports gear that a child has outgrown or no longer needs, then you can place it in the bin.

This can include:

  • Teams sports equiopment, eg bibs, balls, bats
  • Kit for football, rugby, hockey, netball, cricket, softball, etc.
  • Football and rugby boots
  • Protective gear, eg helmets and gloves
  • Swimming kit (except swimsuits) eg goggles, caps, float
  • General training and sportswear
  • Sportsbags

Please make sure the gear is in decent condition and clothing, shoes and boots are freshly washed, clean and stain free.

Don't forget we also have the Shoe Bin for donations of sports shoes that you no longer need or children have outgrown.  This is located at the front of the building (currently under some scaffolding).

Updated Dog Policy at NNH

Please note the following:

Dogs are not permitted around the buildings or in the netball enclosure – so they can not come past the Shoebox entrance into the area by the SIC clinic, Umpires Room or Control Room area at all, and they are not allowed anywhere on the court surface.  Only exception are service dogs. (This is for the safety of the dog and our members).  Dogs are permitted in the carpark.

We appreciate co-operation by all our dog owners.

Booking for Courses and Programmes Online

Most of our courses and programmes are booked online.  To book for any course or programme you need to click on the Member Login button in the left hand column, and login with your existing member login and password.  Once you are logged in, click on Tasks >> Make a Purchase or Booking and select what you are after (take particular note of description and date and make sure you select your child, not yourself).  If you cannot see a course or programme on the list, it means the registrations aren't open yet.  If you are not registered in our database, you will need to register either as a New Player (if course attendee will play at NNH) or as an Associate. Registrations work best on a computer not phone or ipad.
