Netball North Harbour Volunteers

Volunteers at Netball North Harbour

Netball North Harbour recognises and appreciates that volunteers make it possible for teams to be coached and games to be played, umpired and officiated, and for our centre and events to be run successfully. NNH strives to provide a positive and supportive environment where volunteers feel valued and are recognised for their efforts.

What do Netball Volunteers do?

Volunteers at NNH coach, umpire, manage teams and help out with tournaments. Other volunteers are involved in running Saturday netball, primary and intermediate netball and Social Twilight. Many volunteers offer their time around work and other commitments to help out on the occasions when they can for one off events.
How many hours will you need to volunteer?
We appreciate any amount of hours a volunteer is available to do. Some volunteers give 2-8 hours a week and some help out on one off occasions.
Why should you get involved?
Not only will you make a valuable contribution to the local community but you will gain valuable career and personal skills, as well as friendships.
Do I have to be good at sport or play netball?
No, often only a basic level of knowledge of the game is needed and we will help you get up to speed where needed. Volunteers need to be enthusiastic and enjoy working with others.
What are the benefits?
Boost your career options, make new friends, build confidence, learn, have fun!
